Our Story
From a Dream in Russia to Impact in Uganda
The Idrisa Foundation (U) Limited was established in 2025 by Idrisa Kiryowa, a visionary Master's degree student pursuing his studies in Russia after completing significant research and education in India. His scientific credibility can be verified through his ORCID profile (0009-0007-3178-0424), Web of Science publications, and ResearchGate contributions.
Having witnessed firsthand the transformative power of quality education and international exposure, Idrisa recognized a critical gap in his homeland. Thousands of brilliant young minds across Uganda were struggling to access the same opportunities that had shaped his own journey—quality STEM education, mentorship from working scientists, and the resources needed to pursue their dreams.
With significant research contributions in medicine and other scientific fields—published through reputable publishing housesand verified by international scientific databases—Idrisa founded the Idrisa Foundation as his way of giving back to Uganda and his hometown of Entebbe. The Foundation represents his belief that every young person, regardless of their circumstances, deserves the opportunity to thrive and contribute to scientific progress.
